Hello Sunshine!

Image
Today I am showing you one of my favorite cards. This card is so easy to put together and is so pretty. I used Watermelon Wonder and Flirty Flamingo card stock you can find both of these shades are in the In Color line. This card features two stamp sets, Sunshine Sayings (141594, clear mount, $23) and Falling Flowers (139556 clear mount, $20). I die cut the flower using the May Flowers framelits set (140276, $31), I cut out one in the Watermelon and then I cut a second one in the corner of my white piece. I didn't use the white one I cut out, I'll save it for another project. I stamped on the white and added my ribbon, then I matted it on the Flamingo. I then glued the Watermelon floor to the Flamingo piece. Its a bit like a puzzle, I did have to play with it a bit to match it up. I added a rhinestone to the flower, some Wink of Stella Gold to the stamped  flowers   and popped it up on the base.  Be sure to check out my upcoming classes! Happy Stampin' Tri

It has been too long since I joined you here on my blog. I have still been busy making cards, so it is time I returned to share with you some fun cards once again.  My club class is going strong and I'd like to share with you what we worked on in our last class.      This card features the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series paper (141654, $11), I used one 3" x 5" piece and sliced it in different widths and lengths. I then flagged the ends and attached them to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of card stock in Island Indigo. I stamped with the Perfectly Wrapped set (141960, $17) in Island Indigo and Encore Gold. I added a small piece of the Fabulous Foil designer acetate (141653, $12)for interest, some black bakers twine (141682, $3) for flair and voila done. The base of the card is Sahara Sand. If I timed down the flowers some I even think this would work well for a masculine card.      The Perfectly Wrapped set is a FAVORITE of mine and my go to stamp set. Its s

Cheerful Tags Window Card

Image
This is a fun card to make, it features the Cheerful Tags stamp set. I like the look of the window it would be pretty with some frost.  To make the window I first took a 4" x 5-1/4 piece of Whisper White card stock and added some All is Calm washi tape and a few stamped snowflakes. I die cut a starburst  into the center. I then layed this on my Soft Sky card base as a template and placed a circle die into the center of my starburst. I taped the circle down to the card base with a small piece of washi, so it would stay put, removed the white piece and then ran the card base through the Big Shot. I then added a white piece to the inside of my card and stamped the "holiday cheer" through the circle that way it was perfectly placed.  After that I attached a piece of window sheet to the back of my white piece and attached that to the front of my card.  I added the Frosted Sequins to give it some bling and the cute snowflake medallion.  Supplies : stamp

Cheerful Tags holiday card

Here is one of my Holiday Cards for the 2014 Season. I love these colors so soft and serene and then a pop of red to remind you it's Christmas. Merry Merry I love this set Cheerful Tags , its small and simple. I layered some strips of All is Calm designer washi tape over my cascade of snowflakes. The snowflakes are stamped in smoky slate and soft sky classic ink. I added bling with the Frosted sequins and  basic   rhinestones that I colored with my Coastal Cabana blendabilities  markers. You could just as easily use a sharpie to color them, either way the effect is fun. I punched the tag with the new Note Tag punch , stapled a piece of real red 1/4" cotton ribbon  and then tied some cherry cobbler bakers twine around the red ribbon. I stamped the snowflake in soft sky ink on the soft sky card stock, gives a watermark effect. For the layout I used a smoky slate base layered a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of soft sky on top of it. The top layer is a 3-3/4" x 5
