Easel Calendar Card

Image
Here are two fun things I put together at Christmas this year. The card is an Easel card with the calendar applied to the front. These items feature products from the NEW Occasions Mini catalog. The easel part is held up with a brad and the flower is popped up. I also ran my flowers through my perfect polka dots embossing folder for added flair. For the book mark I stuck two flowers together using dimentionals and then strung the ball chain through. I then tied the pear pizzazz in between the two flowers so it gave the effect of leaves. Supplies: Stamp Set: Delight in Life (retired) and Fresh Vintage (SAB 2012) Paper: going gray, riding hood red, pear pizzazz and whisper white card stock; Twitterpated dsp Ink: riding hood red and going gray Accessories: perfect polka dote embossing folders, pear pizzazz seam binding, blossom punch, label punch, 3/4" circle punch and an In Color brad. I got the calendars and the ball chain online. Happy Stampin' Tricia

Tea Light Birthday Cake

Image
Isn't this little light the cutest? A friend of mine received it as a swap during Convention. I had to come home and make one for myself. If you are signed up for the Birthday stamp-a-stack then you will be taking one of these cuties home. If not, there is still room in the August 6th class so sign up today! It is simple to make, I created this one on my own and then discovered a tutorial on splitcoaststampers after. My design is a bit different I did want a clean circle around the flame. The side is a strip of designer series paper. The top is two parts, the first being the 1-3/4" scallop circle with a 3/4" circle punched out of the center. Attach this piece to the top. Then I took a 2" x 2" piece of card stock and punched a circle using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (118309). That is where the "flame" will fit. I then took the 1-3/8" circle punch and punched around the tiny circle, your piece will look like a washer. I slid this circle over the ...

3 x 3 Note Card box

Image
Here is a look at the new color Pool Party In Color for 2011-2013. I made this cute little box to hold some 3x3 notecards. The stamped flower you see on the front of the box is a new Hostess stamp set available this year. Below you will find the complete tutorial on this cute little number. *NEW HOSTESS PROGRAM* This year the hostess program has changed, in the past hostesses were able to pick a level stamp set and had additional hostess dollars to spend. This year hostesses are only given Hostess Dollars which they can use to purchase Hostess only sets at a deep discount or to use on catalog merchandise of their choice. In addition when a hostess reaches just $400 in orders she can choose an item in the catalog at 50% off! I am really excited about this new Hostess Program it is much more versatile. BOX TUTORIAL Here is the tutorial on the card box above, it is so simple and a cute gift. The box is my own design and just a basic box template. You need a piece of cards...

Here are some gift sets I gave to some parent helpers at school this past week. I got the pattern here , it is so easy to put together, I have used the pattern several times. They easily fit 4 note cards. The designer series paper I used is on the retirement list, so sad to see it go! SUPPLIES stamp set : Apple Blossoms (hostess) paper : Marina Mist cs, early espresso cs, and Pear Pizzazz cs; Greenhouse Gala dsp and News Print dsp Ink: Early Espresso Accessories: Ribbon punch, fancy flower punch, modern label punch, window punch, wide oval punch, decorative label punch, scallop edge punch, 3/4" circle punch (think I like my punches?) vintage brads, sneak peek ribbon, and whisper white taffeta ribbon. These two sample are the same pattern only done in Pear Pizzazz.

Wine Tag

Image
Here is what we created at stamp club last week. It is the perfect tag for the perfect gift. One of the ladies in club saw some cute wine tags from a winery and thought "we can make those", so we did. The tag uses the Top Note die (113463) , Square Latice embossing folder (119976), Vintage Springtime dsp (Occasions Mini), and the 3/4" circle punch (119873) for the grapes. To make the grapes we started with a piece of cardstock cut into a triangle. We layered the circles (6 in Perfect Plum and 7 in Concord Grape) from the top down. I did 3 in the top row, 4 the next, then 3, then 2, then 1. The leaf is the 5-petal flower punch in Pear Pizzazz. Happy Stampin' Tricia The April Spring is Blossoming Promotion going on now!
