Twisted Holiday Card

Image
I am in love with this card! It is the twisted card featuring our Be of Good Cheer dsp. We did this last night at our Stamp Club meeting and it was a big hit and you would be surprised at how simple it is too. All it takes is a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock scored from the top right corner down to the bottom left corner long ways. Fold your piece along the score line and then fold it in half. Voila! A twisted card. You should have a pocket on the front as well as the inside. We used the inside one as a gift card holder. To add the designer paper accents I cut a rectangular green polka dot piece 2" x 5-3/4" and cut it diagonally from the top right to the bottom left along the taller side. For the snowflake part my piece of dsp was 4" x 4-12" again cut diagonally from the top right to bottom left along the taller side. Supplies: stamp set: Bold snowflake single stamp and Greetings of the Season ink: cherry cobbler paper: Be of Good Cheer dsp...

Texture Boutique with Carrie Cudney

Image
For anyone who loves the embossing look on their cards and projects, this Texture Boutique is perfect for you! It is compact and adorable! It works with our entire embossing folders line, however it will not cut so you cannot use it with any of the dies. With a few quick turns of the handle you will have embossed accents to add to all your paper crafts! It starts at just $29.95 for just the machine or you can order a bundle with two exclusive embossing folders for $39.95. Supplies are very limited on this item as it is a trial run to see if there is any interest from customers. This item is perfect for anyone not yet ready to get the die cutting sysytem but really loves the embossed look. And for me who already had the die cutting system, I emboss a lot and this looks like it will fit on my desk so I can emboss without having to go to my big shot, which I can't keep on my desk. I have had many Cricut owners ask about embossing, here is your answer! Watch the video below to se...

Happy Halloween! Licorice Witch Brooms

Image
All SUPPLIES Stampin' Up!: brights designer series paper stack, early espresso bakers twine and the Mixed Medley hostess stamp set I made these adorable witches brooms for my club class this last week. They were so simple and quick. I purchased chocolate twizzlers from the store and packaged them in our 1" cello bags. I then cut a piece of designer series paper 2-3/4" x 9". I fringed the top of my paper about 3/4" from the top and 1-1/2" from the bottom all the way along the 9" length. You will find that the designer paper has about 1/2" between the bottom and top fringe, that is where I placed my adhesive, all the way across. I took that designer paper and wrapped it, adhesive facing in, around my twizzler, a little less than 1-1/2" up and not quite flush with the end of the licorice. By leaving a little space between the end of the paper and where your twizzler ends lets the broom bottom fan out just a bit. I hope that makes sense. I ...
