Everything Eleanor
Here is my last swap card from convention. It features my new favorite stamp set Everything Eleanor. This stamp set has flowers, some scrolling, a frame, and a bird . Soo cute. My card also features a fun fold I saw online that I haven't seen much of, it is a winged card, I think.
This was my Over the Top entry, it has quite a few details to it like several layers and embellishments. I love the colors they are from the NEW In Color collection, Midnight Muse, Razpberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, and a touch of Primrose Petals.
SUPPLIES
Stamp Set: Everything Eleanor, Fabulous Phrases
Ink: summer starfruit, midnight muse, raspberry ripple and chocolate chip
Paper: raspberry ripple, whisper white, crumb cake and primrose petals card stock; raspberry ripple, midnight muse and summer starfruit dsp
Accessories: scallop trim border punch, 2-3/8" scallop punch, modern label punch, white stitched grosgrain, In Color dahlias, and lots of dimentionals.
The layers on this card are quite fun. The back layer is 4-14/ x 5-1/2 scored at 1" from each end. The layer with the scalloped edges is 4-1/4 x 5-1/4" scored at 7/8" from each end and then scalloped. The center panel is 3-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 1" from only one end. This last piece is sandwiched between the two panels when you assemble them, with the 1" piece in between. You will have to trim off a small amount in front.
I really liked playing with this card it is so fun.
So while Convention was exciting and fun it was great to get home to my family. I missed my two boys terribly. Yesterday I got to spend the day with my older son, Rowen, at a nearby lake. He got to paddle around in a canoe and then try out wake boarding, and the program was completely free, woo hoo. He had a blast! And I did too :)
Happy Stampin'
Tricia
