You Make Me Happy!

Image
Hello! It's been a while since I posted. I am glad to be back. I am posting a card I made for my stamp club recently, it features the Banner punch and Decorative Dots embossing folders both FREE during sale-a-bration. We dry embossed the dots onto the Core'dinations card stock in real red. We could have sanded this down to create a distressed look but I just wanted the look of the textured card stock on this card. I was lucky enough to find that card stock on the SU! clearance rack, woo hoo! Right now I think they still have gumball green available at a great discount. The banners were punched out of the Fresh Prints designer series paper stack (132996, $6.95, 48 sheets), found in the Celebrate the Every Day catalog. Its beautiful paper. Each sheet measures 4-1/2 x 6-1/2. Soft Suede, Poppy Parade and Pool Party

Such a lovely combo that I never would have paired if it weren't for the Sale-A-Bration designer series paper. This paper is so pretty! I can't put it down and I want to use it on every project I make. I have a card sample for you today that is a variation on one I already did. I have stopped putting greeting onto my card samples as I never have the right one when I need it. I just put my verse on when I am ready to send my card. Supplies: Stamp set: Fresh Vintage Paper: soft suede, pool party and whisper white cardstock; everyday enchantment dsp (SAB only) Ink: soft suede Accessories: decorative label punch, 3/4" circle punch, blossom punch, clear buttons, white bakers twine, and dots embossing folder. This box was adapted from Mary Fish , who got it from another demo, who got it from another demo :). I tweaked it a bit on the lid measurements but everything else is the same. The candies were wrapped using the dsp. My tag was made with the Labels framelits die. My

Spotlight on Framelits

I was hesitant about the *NEW* Framelits dies but they are my new favorite accessory, I can do so much with them and they make all of my cards look so "wow", with little effort I might add. The following two cards were done at my last Stamp Club meeting, if you don't belong to a Stamp club you are missing out ;). This card features products from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. We simply attached our dsp to the front and the cut out a "window" using the Labels framelits die, I love that you can place these anywhere on your card. We then cut another frame out of poppy parade to place inside. The lovely butterfly on the front is made using the blossom punch. To get a butterfly fold your blossom in half and trim it to leave only the wings of a butterfly. SAB Yes, it is that time of year again! The time of year when we get FREE stuff from SU!. Now through March 31st you will get a free stamp set, ribbon or paper from the SAB mini catalog for each $50 in catalog merchandise you spend. In addition to this you can get another free item when you host an at home workshop. There are four stamp sets, one package of designer series paper(dsp), and a ribbon bundle to choose from. The paper is an excellent deal as it has 16 sheets of dsp as opposed to the regular 12. The ribbon bundle contains one 5 yd roll of so saffron 3/8" grossgrain ribbon and one 5 yd roll of certainly celery 3/8" soft twill ribbon. Both are gorgeous by the way. I have uploaded two samples using 3 items from the SAB mini catalog. I chose these because they all coordinate with each other and I love it when everything matches. I used the Polka Dot Punches stamp set, the Delicate Dots dsp, and the ribbon. The main images on both cards were stamped in whisper white
