Magnet Board

I made this adorable magnet board for my next stamp camp. I have had these cute boards for about a year and it was about time I used them. The background is Stampin' Up!'s designer prints paper. I love these because they come in every single SU color! I always have just the right shade and they always match my card stock. And let's face it, that's what we LOVE about Stampin' Up!.
There is still room in my Saturday class if you are interested. It's at 10am, at my home please RSVP as soon as you can. The cost for supplies is $15.

I will be repeating the class in August but have not yet determined the dates, please let me know if you are interested.

We will also be making this matching dry-erase board. SO cute!

stamp set: Elements of Style, Elenor Everyday and Sweet Shoppe letters (retired)
ink: raspberry ripple, daffodil delight and basic black
paper: designer prints paper in  raspberry ripple, daffodil delight and baja breeze, newsprint dsp and whisper white and lucky limeade card stock
accessories: black grosgrain ribbon, apothecary accents framelits die, buttons, rhinestones, twill tape ribbon, sanding blocks, sticky strip, oval punch, fancy flower punch, bottle cap and magnets

Take a look at these details. If you have been wanting to learn how to do these ribbon rosettes you are in luck as we will be making one for our magnets.

Candy Countdown Calendar kit

I love this! It is adorable and so easy to put together. The quality is again top notch especially for the price (120926, $19.95). The boxes are a good size, 1.5 x 1 7/8 x 3.5 widening to 2 1/8 x 2 5/8 at the top. The kit is meant to be used as a countdown to Christmas calendar and I plan on using it as such. But now that I have one in hand I want a second kit I can use for small Christmas gift for family and friends. A giftcard will easily fit inside as will cookies, and candy. They will also look adorable hanging on the Christmas tree!
I can't get over how much product you get with this kit. You get 25 of the boxes, if you have ever bought the cute take out boxes at a craft store you can see the value right there. And did I mention the boxes are patterned and require no adhesive? Too cute! You also get 25 pieces of  12" real red grossgrain ribbon to hang the boxes, a long strand of rope and 25 adorable tiny clothespins. The cut outs are a made of a heavy cardstock and are quite easy to punch out.
Quick and simple, just the way I like it. It leaves me room to play and add embellishments to my hearts desire. I have taken some pictures of the products as they came. You will have to sign up for my Christmas club classes and see how I step them up a notch!

New Goodies!

Yesterday I received my order for some products in the new Winter Mini. Most of the time demonstrators get to pre-order and test out products about a month before the are available to customers but these items were not yet ready. So I waited impatiently for September 1st and was excited to see Mr. Brown drive up yesterday with my beautiful brown box.
The first product I opened was the Decor Accents "design-a-house", (120911, $5.95). SU! never ceases to amaze me with thier quality and ease of use, this product delivered on all levels. The house is made of thin glossy white chipboard, pre-cut and scored! There are instructions for assembly, as well as a life size template of each piece included. The template will come in handy for cutting my dsp to size when I want to attach them to the house, not to mention I can probably make myself another house using cardstock, hmm. Anyway, I had envisioned tracing the house and then making my own templates but SU! was kind enough to do it for me, YAY!  Last but not least the house comes with a tiny adorable golden doorknob. It screws right on and adds the perfect finishing touch. The house measures 6.25 x 6 x 5. It is a great size and priced perfectly.
Be sure to sign up for my halloween class so you too can own one of the little cuties! I took some pictures of the product before I decorate it, Enjoy! Tomorrow I will showcase another product from my brown box so stop by again.
