Chalkboard technique card and Introducing Paper Pumpkin

Image
I love this old, but new again new technique. It is so much fun! I think it is the white embossing on the black that gives it so much pizzazz. We made this card at my last stamp club meeting. it features the chalkboard technique and new More Amore dsp. The scallops on the right are actually a doily heart (included in the designer series paper) turned on it's side. The More Amore paper is seasonally valentines but I really try and extend it's use to more than that. I think you can send this cute Hello card anytime. The red scalloped edge on the left is the new Real Red coredinations card stock, it is real red textured card stock with a pink core. So when we distressed the edge a bit you can see the pink inside. Cute! The technique is super easy, just emboss your images in white embossing powder and then daub some white ink around them. You can use white ink and clear embossing powder but the look is less dramatic. Supplies Stamp Set: Lacy and Lovely Ink: versamark (waterm

Wine Tag

Image
Here is what we created at stamp club last week. It is the perfect tag for the perfect gift. One of the ladies in club saw some cute wine tags from a winery and thought "we can make those", so we did. The tag uses the Top Note die (113463) , Square Latice embossing folder (119976), Vintage Springtime dsp (Occasions Mini), and the 3/4" circle punch (119873) for the grapes. To make the grapes we started with a piece of cardstock cut into a triangle. We layered the circles (6 in Perfect Plum and 7 in Concord Grape) from the top down. I did 3 in the top row, 4 the next, then 3, then 2, then 1. The leaf is the 5-petal flower punch in Pear Pizzazz. Happy Stampin' Tricia The April Spring is Blossoming Promotion going on now! Valentine samples

I have been having fun making Valentine cards this week. I have two samples to share with you. Supplies: Stamps: Season of Friendship, Well Scripted Ink: Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, and Early Espresso Paper: Pretty in Pink,Real Red, Marina Mist, Wild Wassabi and Whisper White cardstock, love patterns dsp, and glimmer paper Accessories: Marina Mist taffeta ribbon, Heart to Heart punch, Decorative Label punch, Extra Large oval punch, dotted scallop ribbon border punch and dimentionals. I stamped the images and then punched the hearts out of our new Glimmer paper (121790, 2 sheets $3.95). I was amazed and happy with how easy it was to punch through the paper. I attached the hearts to the card with dimentionals. I also thought this card could use some color so I added the wasabi and marina mist. The picture does not do this card justice. We will be making this card at my club class on Thursday. I features the Beveled Window panes ( 121881, 12 for $7.95), Glimmer paper, and First
