There is a fantastic promotion going on this month. This great 7 piece set is available for $5 with any $50 order. This offer is limited and will only be available through July 31st. Here is the card I made using this set. I features the apothecary accents framelits die and new piercing template. I love the new piercing pack it comes with 3 stencils each one is 6" x 6" in size and they only run $7.95 (#126187) for the set. You can purchase the piercing tool separately ($3.95, 126189) if you need one, or use a push pin as I know many of my customers do. It adds such a fun touch to any project, we will be using these a lot in my upcoming classes. And maybe we will be seeing more of these in upcoming catalogs :). Well I digress, here is my fun card. You can see the pierced details around the frame. To put this card together I stamped the solid sunflowers in daffodil onto white card stock, and the small solid flowers in baja breeze. Since the stamp set is two-step stamp

Spotlight on Framelits

I was hesitant about the *NEW* Framelits dies but they are my new favorite accessory, I can do so much with them and they make all of my cards look so "wow", with little effort I might add. The following two cards were done at my last Stamp Club meeting, if you don't belong to a Stamp club you are missing out ;). This card features products from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. We simply attached our dsp to the front and the cut out a "window" using the Labels framelits die, I love that you can place these anywhere on your card. We then cut another frame out of poppy parade to place inside. The lovely butterfly on the front is made using the blossom punch. To get a butterfly fold your blossom in half and trim it to leave only the wings of a butterfly. Candy Countdown Calendar kit

Image
I love this! It is adorable and so easy to put together. The quality is again top notch especially for the price (120926, $19.95). The boxes are a good size, 1.5 x 1 7/8 x 3.5 widening to 2 1/8 x 2 5/8 at the top. The kit is meant to be used as a countdown to Christmas calendar and I plan on using it as such. But now that I have one in hand I want a second kit I can use for small Christmas gift for family and friends. A giftcard will easily fit inside as will cookies, and candy. They will also look adorable hanging on the Christmas tree! I can't get over how much product you get with this kit. You get 25 of the boxes, if you have ever bought the cute take out boxes at a craft store you can see the value right there. And did I mention the boxes are patterned and require no adhesive? Too cute! You also get 25 pieces of  12" real red grossgrain ribbon to hang the boxes, a long strand of rope and 25 adorable tiny clothespins. The cut outs are a made of a heavy cardstock and are q

New Goodies!

Yesterday I received my order for some products in the new Winter Mini. Most of the time demonstrators get to pre-order and test out products about a month before the are available to customers but these items were not yet ready. So I waited impatiently for September 1st and was excited to see Mr. Brown drive up yesterday with my beautiful brown box.  The first product I opened was the Decor Accents "design-a-house", (120911, $5.95). SU! never ceases to amaze me with thier quality and ease of use, this product delivered on all levels. The house is made of thin glossy white chipboard, pre-cut and scored! There are instructions for assembly, as well as a life size template of each piece included. The template will come in handy for cutting my dsp to size when I want to attach them to the house, not to mention I can probably make myself another house using cardstock, hmm. Anyway, I had envisioned tracing the house and then making my own templates but SU! was kind enough to do i
