Open House

I am hosting an Open House on Saturday February 5th, at 1pm. This is a great opportunity to see and use new products. We will make two cards and I will be demonstrating fabric and paper flowers. There will be door pizes and a free gift when you book a party or bring a friend! Please rsvp by Thursday February 3rd, so that I may have enough supplies available. I look forward to a wonderful afternoon with you!

Sale-A-Bration

Sale-A-Bration begins tomorrow morning! I can hardly wait, I have my order ready to go. The two items are my list are the paper and the ribbon, I just think they are beautiful! Those are followed by the digital kit, but I will save those for another order, or better yet for the free sets we earn a demonstrators! Woo hoo!
Speaking of becoming a demo...during sale-a-bration Starter Kits are 15% off, now that is a great savings but in addition you also get an added bundle worth $50! The bundle includes a simply sent kit, simply sent stamp set, color coach and a punch (17.95 or less). Such an exciting offer at such an exciting time to be a demo.

Love card

Here is a card I did for a demo swap today it features the Love you Much (113756, $25.95w) stamp set. The designer series paper I used is from the special bundle pack only available through tomorrow. So if you haven't ordered your "Filled with Love" bundle, tomorrow is the last day to get it.
The sparkly heart is the red glimmer paper (121790, $3.95/2 sheets), I love this paper! You can punch through it so easily and it adds such dimension and pizzazz to your cards. On this card though I punched a heart through the fron of the card and then layered a small square of the glimmer paper behind it. Use glue dots to ensure a good hold.

Love Bug

As promised to some who attended class last week here is my "Love Bug" card. My downline Diana was kind enough to share with me her instructions that she may have gotten from here. But I will verify with her on that and correct if needed. We changed some of the punches just because we didn't have them and/or thought some of the newer punches worked better. The window was Diana's idea entirely.
Details:
Top: 2-1/2" circle punch with the large oval for window, slot punch for rear view mirror
Hood - extra large oval, large oval cut in half
Fenders - large oval
chrome - word window and slot punch (we no longer sell it)
Tires : Modern label
Headlights - 1/2" circle punch with a generic rhinestone on top.
Most supplies are Stampin' Up! The cardstock is real red, basic black and pretty in pink. The shimmery paper for the chrome is paper Diana had in her stash. The Love patterns dsp is from the Filled with Love bundle. Other items used are the small heart punch, well scripted stamp set, love bugs stamp set (both retired), basic black ink, dotted scallop ribbon punch and the decorative label punch.

We had so much fun making these. I hope you do too.

Valentine samples

I have been having fun making Valentine cards this week. I have two samples to share with you.
Supplies:
Stamps: Season of Friendship, Well Scripted
Ink: Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, and Early Espresso
Paper: Pretty in Pink,Real Red, Marina Mist, Wild Wassabi and Whisper White cardstock, love patterns dsp, and glimmer paper
Accessories: Marina Mist taffeta ribbon, Heart to Heart punch, Decorative Label punch, Extra Large oval punch, dotted scallop ribbon border punch and dimentionals.

I stamped the images and then punched the hearts out of our new Glimmer paper (121790, 2 sheets $3.95). I was amazed and happy with how easy it was to punch through the paper. I attached the hearts to the card with dimentionals. I also thought this card could use some color so I added the wasabi and marina mist.

The picture does not do this card justice. We will be making this card at my club class on Thursday. I features the Beveled Window panes ( 121881, 12 for $7.95), Glimmer paper, and First edition dsp. The Beveled Window Panes are really not as difficult to work with as they look. It was suggested to attach them only using the ribbon but I used a glue dot down at the bottom and you can't see it at all. The two hearts were punched and added with only a brad and linen thread. The First Edition dsp is thinner than our regular dsp; it comes double sided and there are 24 sheets to a package, 4 ea. of 6 designs, (121878, $11.95).

Supplies:
Stamp set: Tiny Tags
Ink: Early Espresso and Real Red
Paper: Real Red, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla cardstock, Early Espresso dsp, Glimmer paper, and First Edition dsp
Accessories: Beveled Window Panes, Early espresso taffeta ribbon, linen thread, brads, linen thread, dotted scallop ribbon border punch small heart punch and the Elegant Lines embossing folder.
