Recent Cards

I have not posted any new card designs in a while and I have some beautiful one's I have been meaning to.
The first is from a recent card swap I participated in. I made 40 of them!
Supplies:
Stamp set: Flower Fancy; Great Friend
cardstock: kraft, basic black, whisper white, and real red
dsp: bashful blue patterns
ink: basic black, certainly celery
accessories: real red and yo yo yellow markers, black gingham ribbon, and scallop trim edge punch

Here are two we did at my last Open House. These feature products from our latest mini catalog.

Supplies:
stamp set: Tropical Party, and a retired mini letters set for "aloha"
cardstock: tempting turquoise, old olive, so saffron, and chocolate chip
dsp: island oasis
accessories: satin ribbon, modern label punch, stampin' glitter

Here is the last one. I tried my hand at the vintage style.
Supplies:
stamp set: Elements of Style
cardstock: kraft, rose red, very vanilla
ink: basic brown, rose red, and old olive
accessories: kraft ribbon, aqua painter, log cabin smooch spritz, scallop edge punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, and corner rounder

Sweet Strawberries

Loving this fresh adorable bundle, Sweet Strawberry. It’s easy to create a dimensional look and the cards are perfect for the season. I really like stamping the strawberries onto petal pink card stock in the poppy parade ink. The punch makes it so easy to make a few strawberries at a time. Freshly Made Sketch & New Products

     I needed to get my creative juices flowing so I went in search of a new sketch. I stumbled across this blog Freshly Made Sketches , their sketches are right up my alley, I love their clean and simple style. Usually, I just jot down the sketch and go along my merry way. But this time I decided to actually play along.      I also happened to get my box of NEW Stampin' Up! goodies this week so I have incorporated those as well. Being a SU! demo I get to order a few items from the upcoming idea book and catalog. So I ordered a set of the new In Colors and a couple of the new colors being introduced.      Well, here is the Freshly Made Sketch #84, FMS84, and my first ever challenge version of it. I used three new colors Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar and the re-introduced Soft Sky. The fluffy flower is made from the Creped Filter Paper, just $2.95 a package.
