Springtime Vintage

This card features the new paper and stamp set in the Occasions 2011 mini catalog. The paper is shades of rose red, kraft, sahara sand and not quite navy. I had a lot of fun with the different patterns. Of course I also used the seam binding ribbon, which I absolutely love! The card is a z-fold.


SUPPLIES

Stamp set: Baby Blossoms
Paper: Springtime Vintage dsp; rose red, baja breeze, river rock and whisper white cardstock
Ink: Rose red, not quite navy, pear pizzazz, and early espresso
Accessories: rose red seam binding, decorative label punch, and dimentionals


For this card I used the FUN beveled windowpanes. I love these! They add such glammour to my projects. I did this card as a two-way open card.

Loving this fresh adorable bundle, Sweet Strawberry. It’s easy to create a dimensional look and the cards are perfect for the season. I really like stamping the strawberries onto petal pink card stock in the poppy parade ink. The punch makes it so easy to make a few strawberries at a time. Freshly Made Sketch & New Products

     I needed to get my creative juices flowing so I went in search of a new sketch. I stumbled across this blog Freshly Made Sketches , their sketches are right up my alley, I love their clean and simple style. Usually, I just jot down the sketch and go along my merry way. But this time I decided to actually play along.      I also happened to get my box of NEW Stampin' Up! goodies this week so I have incorporated those as well. Being a SU! demo I get to order a few items from the upcoming idea book and catalog. So I ordered a set of the new In Colors and a couple of the new colors being introduced.      Well, here is the Freshly Made Sketch #84, FMS84, and my first ever challenge version of it. I used three new colors Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar and the re-introduced Soft Sky. The fluffy flower is made from the Creped Filter Paper, just $2.95 a package.
