New Ink Pads from Stampin' Up!

If you have not heard Stampin' Up! has introduced NEW ink pads. We have switched from the canvas pad to a foam base. Watch this video for an in depth look at the NEW pads.
To work with these fabulous NEW ink pads the ink was reformulated. You can still use the same re-inkers on both pads except in the following five colors, Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Perfect Plum and Marina Mist. You should throw out these refills and start with the new ones, all others can be used with either the old or new ink pads.
I have used these pads and really enjoy them, they do seem jucier. I don't however plan on replacing all of my pads. I have some pads that are over 5 years old and just need to be replaced so I will start there.

I really like stamping the strawberries onto petal pink card stock in the poppy parade ink. The punch makes it so easy to make a few strawberries at a time. Freshly Made Sketch & New Products

     I needed to get my creative juices flowing so I went in search of a new sketch. I stumbled across this blog Freshly Made Sketches , their sketches are right up my alley, I love their clean and simple style. Usually, I just jot down the sketch and go along my merry way. But this time I decided to actually play along.      I also happened to get my box of NEW Stampin' Up! goodies this week so I have incorporated those as well. Being a SU! demo I get to order a few items from the upcoming idea book and catalog. So I ordered a set of the new In Colors and a couple of the new colors being introduced.      Well, here is the Freshly Made Sketch #84, FMS84, and my first ever challenge version of it. I used three new colors Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar and the re-introduced Soft Sky. The fluffy flower is made from the Creped Filter Paper, just $2.95 a package.
