SEPTEMBER CLASSES Stamp A Stack Thursday September 6 th 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm OR Friday September 7 th 10 am - 11:30am $15 or Free with $20 order Join me for a fun evening of making 5 different all occasion cards. Hand-made cards are all the rage and oh so easy to do. Take some time for yourself to let your creative side play. All materials are pre-cut and user friendly, no experience needed. Please be sure to bring with you your favorite adhesive and a pair of scissors if you have them. Please RSVP by Tuesday September 4 th . Christmas Card Class Saturday September 15 th 1pm - 3pm OR Friday September 21 st 10am - 12pm $24 (club members $20) The first of 3 different classes to help you get all of your hand stamped cards done by Christmas! We will make 10 identical cards with matching envelopes, an ornament and a cookie treat pouch. There will be a fun raffle and door prizes for everyone!   Please RSVP by September 10th   so that I may order enough supplies.

I can't say I love this set enough! It is so versatile and so fun. It has everything I look for in a set, images, verses and they have a matching punch, or in this case framelits die set. I love it! What I also love is that you can get the stamp set and dies in a set at 15% off! Don't we love a good deal! We made this card at my last stamp. This card was so much fun to make. I borrowed the layout from Amy O'Neill , I love how she used the paper designs. The fun gingham flower was something I learned at convention from Carrie Cudney, you can see my project and directions on how to make the flower  here . I never got around to adding my verse but we did in class using the modern label punch. If you have not heard Stampin' Up! has introduced NEW ink pads. We have switched from the canvas pad to a foam base. Watch this video for an in depth look at the NEW pads. To work with these fabulous NEW ink pads the ink was reformulated. You can still use the same re-inkers on both pads except in the following five colors, Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Perfect Plum and Marina Mist. You should throw out these refills and start with the new ones, all others can be used with either the old or new ink pads. I have used these pads and really enjoy them, they do seem jucier. I don't however plan on replacing all of my pads. I have some pads that are over 5 years old and just need to be replaced so I will start there. I was going through pictures of my past classes and came across the samples from last years Holiday tags class. I have been doing this class since I started stamping and it has been a lot of fun. I think last year was the best yet! The case is the clear stamping cases from the Catalog, we used a Simply Scrappin' kit, stocking accessories die and the yummy glimmer paper in red and silver. This years Tags class will be held on December 1st, so mark your calendar! I am already working on making some amazing tags! Happy Stampin' Tricia

I am so excited about this publication! It's gorgeous! This catalog is by no means "Mini", it is now magazine style and has more pages than ever before. There are tons of new products which you may have noticed on my Frosty Friends card I posted a week ago. That stamp was new as was the snowflake die. And so much more. What I am really excited about is the product bundles that give you a savings of 15%, that helps a lot. Here is the fun 2012 Convention Video. It was a really catchy tune and fun to see all of the SU! peeps in the lip syncing. The video was made at the Stampin' Up! home office. Looks like somewhere I'd LOVE to work!. The last part pf the video was the actual opening session of convention! So i was in it ;) We were in the crowd back stands on the right. LOL. Enjoy!

Here is my last swap card from convention. It features my new favorite stamp set Everything Eleanor. This stamp set has flowers, some scrolling, a frame, and a bird . Soo cute. My card also features a fun fold I saw online that I haven't seen much of, it is a winged card, I think. This was my Over the Top entry, it has quite a few details to it like several layers and embellishments. I love the colors they are from the NEW In Color collection, Midnight Muse, Razpberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, and a touch of Primrose Petals.
